SPECT Scanner for Cancer Diagnosis
The Kigali Cancer Walk 2026 — Sunday, 9 August — raises funds for a SPECT scanner, a critical diagnostic tool for detecting cancer, heart disease, and neurological conditions. Rwanda currently lacks sufficient imaging capacity for its growing population.
🎯 <strong>Impact:</strong> Estimated 500,000+ Rwandans to benefit from improved diagnostic access.

Kigali Public Library
The flagship project of RCKV. Conceived by Rotarian Beth Payne, this $6 million library took 12 years to build. RCKV raised ~$1.3 million. The foundation stone was laid in 2000 by PM Bernard Makuza, and the library was officially opened in 2012 by First Lady Jeannette Kagame.
💡 Serving thousands of Kigali residents daily as the city's premier public library.
